As a wife, and mum of 2 boys, I became fed up with the amount of waste packaging that our household seemed to throw out each week.  I had always been intrigued by the 'back to basics' and 'make do and mend' ideas that had been passed down through the years and decided to see if some of them could be reincorporated back into our family life.
